Mr. Munir Khan

MSc. Memb. Society of MSK Medicine

Munir qualified as a physiotherapist in 2003 followed by MSc from University of East London in 2007. He worked in multiple private and NHS musculoskeletal services over the years and developed a special interest in Orthopaedic medicine and interventional pain management through minor procedures.

He has training from University of Essex  as an injections therapist. He passed his membership exam for the Society of MSK medicine in 2011. Munir is an interventional pain management clinician who also has training on cadavers for ultrasound guided injections with London and America’s renowned pain management consultants.

Mr. Imran Haq

Extended Scope Practitioner, Injection Therapist & Prescriber

Imran qualified in 2001 and currently combines his role at Joint- Injections with a highly specialist role at Physiocare. Imran is working as an Extended Scope Practitioner since 2018, assessing complex patients and he is also qualified to deliver injections, request MRI scans and X-rays, and also specialised blood tests. He developed special interest in tendon rehabilitation, Runner’s gait analysis and rehabilitation from injuries.Imran’s patients benefit from fast recovery and subsequent optimal performance levels. He maintains high levels of professionalism by strategic ongoing training programmes, focusing on evidence based clinical practice.

He is a qualified in Soft Tissue & Joint Injections and a qualified Acupuncturist. Holds a Post graduate diploma from Society of Musculoskeletal medicine UK (formerly known as Society of Orthopaedic medicine) and  Post-graduation certificate in Physiotherapy.

Mr. Aamir Safdar Khan

Musculoskeletal Sonographer And Prescriber

Aamir has specialised in Joint Pain and Sports Injury for over 15 years. He is an experienced Advance Musculoskeletal Practitioner, Independent Prescriber and Diagnostic & Interventional Musculoskeletal Sonographer (ultrasound) with a demonstrated history of working in the hospital & health care. Skilled in Joint and Soft tissue Injections, Medicine prescribing, Acupuncture, Physiotherapy, Orthopaedic Rehabilitation, Sports Injuries and Sonography (ultrasound & ultrasound guided procedures).

Aamir is expert in the ultrasound of joints, tendons and ligaments. Ultrasound can be used to help diagnosis, to monitor treatment and to give ultrasound-guided cortisone injections to these structures.

After completing MSc in Physiotherapy from the University of East London, he worked for NHS and Private physiotherapy and podiatry clinics before pursuing PgCert focused on Muscle and Joint Sonography/Ultrasound and Soft tissue and Joint Injection from the Essex University. He has completed his independent medicine prescribing from Coventry University.

The combination of skill set has enabled him to practice at various University Hospitals and GP practices such as:

  • Worcester Royal Hospital Rheumatology Department.

  • University Hospitals Coventry & Warwickshire (UHCW) Radiology Department.

  • Yourhealth Partnership GP Surgeries.

  • Ultrasound-guided SI joint Injections (Sacro-Iliac joint)

  • Ultrasound Guided High Volume Hydrodistention or Hydrodilatation Injections for tendinopathy (Patellar/Achilles and others)

  • Hydrodilatation or Hydrodistension Injections for Frozen Shoulder (adhesive capsulitis)

  • Plasma Rich Platelet (PRP) Injections

Mr. Adnan Arif

Injection Therapist & Extended Scope Practitioner

Adnan qualified in 2007 and having extensive clinical experience of over 14 years as a musculoskeletal specialist, he also works as an advanced practitioner in the NHS providing assessment, diagnosis and management for complex chronic conditions closely working with orthopaedic consultants and training colleagues and fellow clinicians. He also specialises in joint and soft tissue injections. Being an avid sportsman and rock climber, Adnan has an excellent understanding of sports injuries and their rehabilitation. When not playing cricket or badminton, he can be found playing guitar.

Dr Sameer Gohir

 PhD, MSc, PG Certf MSK Ultrasound, MCSP, MSCP, MACSPM

Mr Gohir has worked in the NHS and private sector and has over 20 years of experience. He specialises in Shoulder, knee, wrist, and ankle pain. He has also worked for an American hospital in the Middle East, thus gaining experience working in a multi-cultural environment.
Mr Gohir has more than five years experience of ultrasound scans and guided injections. He is an honorary lecturer at Nottingham University and has shared his wisdom at international conferences such as ACR and EULAR. He has a passion for teaching and solving complex cases.
